This Week’s Purple Brigadier

Peggy Guichard-Watters
 Peggy Guichard-Watters
An SEIU State Chapter member in the Dept of Environmental Quality, Peggy Guichard-Waters is already well on her way to earning her 50 hours of political action. Peg volunteered - not once but twice - this week! Peg’s motivation? “We need a state legislature that recognizes the value of state employees!  We need to support those candidates who support us!”

Special Mission

Have an idea of someone else who would be a good recruit for the Purple Brigade? Sign up a fellow SEIU member – or your own family member – and with their first 2 hours of volunteering, you’ll also earn 2 hours of political action credit! Application forms are on the Purple Brigade page of our web site.

The Purple Brigade now numbers 50 SEIU members committed to political action! Let Molly McGovern know if you have someone who might be interested in joining us.

By the Way...
Have you seen the great picture of Purple Brigadiers gathered in Phoenix after a couple of hours knocking on doors? It’s on our home page, www.seiuaz.org. And check out the Purple Brigade page for more pictures from the Political Conference that launched our Brigade!
