Innovation & Quality

Ever Have an IQ Moment?

Ever have a great idea that you just knew would improve your job, your working environment or the way services reach the end-user?

If you have, then you’ve had an “IQ” moment. And when it happens again, now you’ll have an opportunity to do something about it.

Using a partnership approach that recognizes the value of all stakeholders in developing innovative ways to deliver high quality services, our Innovation and Quality program is designed to encourage the discussions that generate good ideas and then turn those ideas into action. What that means is employees and management sit down and talk about the day to day issues that impact all concerned. As Chandler Chapter President James Kame says, “Nobody has a job title at these meetings, so it’s a free exchange of ideas.”

And that’s exactly the point. It’s an approach designed to recognize the value of all participants and to then develop the mutual trust needed to really look into relevant issues from both sides of the coin. It’s a proactive way to create solutions to existing problems and discover new ways to improve the delivery of services to the community.

There aren’t many things in life that can truly be called “win-win” situations. But the IQ approach – Innovation and Quality – is just that. We’ll be highlighting the ideas and solutions you develop in upcoming issues.
