Meet and Confer Agreement Approved on Unanimous Board Vote
| Pima Chapter Makes History |
 |
| Pima Chapter members and staff celebrate the Board's unanimous vote. |
The first-ever negotiations between Pima County employees and County management are over. And we have won a significant victory in a difficult economic environment with the Pima County Board's unanimous 5-0 vote.
Bereavement leave, a downtown parking allowance, no increase in health payments, increased leave for part-timers, agreements to permit our members to exercise their union rights and continuing opportunities to work hand-in-hand with management to ensure we can provide the highest quality services to our community.
In comments before the Board vote, Pima Chapter President Dave Mitchell said, "This agreement is another historic step for all of us and demonstrates that county employees and management can indeed make good, substantive progress when we sit down together to discuss how to make improvements."Read the highlights of our Meet and Confer Agreement
