Your SEIU Meet and Confer team has reached agreement with county management over improvements to employee benefits for next year.
A ratification vote on the 2014-2015 Memorandum of Understanding will be held on Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27.

Highlights from this year’s Meet and Confer session include:
Multilingual Pay Stipend – Starting in February, the County will implement a multilingual pay stipend. Eligible employees could qualify for $.30 or $.60 per hour for their use of a second language on the job.
Increased Union Access – SEIU members will be included at any county wellness and benefits fairs. This move will provide employees access to more information and help you grow your union and employee power.
During discussions this year emphasis was placed on progressive discipline and pay equity.
In addition to this year’s Meet and Confer Agreement, SEIU members secured employee raises for fiscal year 2014-15. Starting in September employees will receive a 50 cent per hour raise!
