A delegation of Chandler SEIU members delivered the "Open Letter to Mark Pentz on Health Benefits" at the City Council meeting last night, Thursday 5/27.  We know that Mayor, Council and City Manager read the letter, since it was delivered on a 2 foot x 3 foot poster! Hundreds of Chandler employees signed, opposing the City Manager's proposed health insurance cost increases.

As member-employees spoke, there was a definite buzz on the dais, with elected officials, city administrators, and the city attorney all doing a little "meeting and conferring" of their own.  We know that in politics, the "action is in the reaction."  Congratulations to the members who spoke and participated!
